Our Story
ONCE UPON A TIME, there was a little girl who grew up in Amish Country, PA. Her parents raised Angus Cattle (from Scotland)! The little girl found photos of Highland Cattle and kept the photo in a diary (she still has it to this day, but it's in a box somewhere, after living in four states in 16 years!).
The little girl wanted one, but her Daddy said, "if you have a farm someday, you can raise a herd; I don't want to switch from Angus)
Fast-forward to 2002, when that girl (me!) met a Scottish laddie (Andy!) and married him four and a half months later!
During our honeymoon in Scotland, we decided that someday we'd have a store called The Shaggy Coo..... In Scotland, COWS are "COOS"
And in Pennsylvania Dutch/German, a cow is a "Kuh", pronounced "Coo" So there you go!!!
Oh and can't forget the last part of the fairytale.
"AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER"!
